A much wetter pattern is getting ready to invade Northeast Georgia.
We have a very complicated and busy forecast this upcoming week in terms of precipitation chances. We’ll kick the week off dry, though clouds will be invading the region through the day. By Tuesday widespread showers are expected with the best chance coming from late morning through the afternoon. Widespread showers remain likely on Wednesday as a cold front passes through.
Thursday has the best potential to be mostly dry, however a few showers will still be possible as a wedge works into the region ahead of our next big low pressure system.
As of now, the models are in agreement of a gulf low developing spreading some potentially heavy rain into the region Friday/Saturday, however this is still 5 days away leaving plenty of time to wait and see what happens.
