Jane Boss, age 92, of Helen, Georgia, passed away on Saturday, July 23, 2016 at a local private care facility following and extended illness.
Mrs. Boss was born on June 9, 1924 in Roberts Town, North Carolina. She is preceded in death by her parents, Worth and Molly Deaton Roberts; grandson, Corey Fred. Mrs. Boss was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She was of the non-denominational faith. Mrs. Boss was a loving and dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
Survivors include her loving husband of 69 years, John Boss, of Helen; daughters and sons-in-law, Victoria and Marvin Fred, of Salem, OR; Sharron and Jim Franks, of Dallas, TX; son and daughter-in-law, John Michael and Cindy Boss, of Bogart, GA; 10 grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren.
Graveside Services are scheduled for 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 27, 2016 at Yonah Memorial Gardens with Jim Franks officiating.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. to 2:45 p.m., on Wednesday, July 27, 2016 at Whitfield Funeral Homes, North Chapel prior to the graveside service.
