We have the coolest weather since early spring coming to Northeast Georgia, and the driest 7 day period we’ve seen in quite some time. A cold front cleared the area early Tuesday, handing control over to a series of high pressure systems that will push through over the next several days. The largest will swing through by the weekend, seen on the map below.
This high is straight from Canada and will drag down possibly the first sub-40º air of the season, which means our first threat of frost. Saturday through Monday nights looks to be the coldest, with temps possibly dipping into the 30’s by Monday and Tuesday morning. This is still a few days away, but things certainly look to be cooling off as we head into the weekend.
I’ll keep an eye on the temps and keep you updated. Everyone have an excellent Wednesday!~TW
