We’re on a weather roller coaster that isn’t slowing down.
Expect a gorgeous day across Northeast Georgia with highs reaching into the low-70’s under mostly sunny skies. Some high clouds could filter in later in the day but sun should be predominant.
As we head into Tuesday temps will soar into the mid/upper-70’s ahead of a front that will bring a risk of showers and thunderstorms to the area by late day and overnight. The latest high-resolution models keep the bulk of the storm activity to our north, but some showers and storms are possible across the region from late Tuesday through mid-morning Wednesday.
Winds will shift to the east late Wednesday and a strong wedge will build in overnight. This wedge will bring in plentiful cloud cover and significantly cooler temperatures for Thu/Fri. By Saturday our next major weather maker will be approaching from the west, and stay tuned for more on that as we get closer.
