Ninth District Opportunity (NDO) is offering assistance to Northeast Georgians who are struggling to pay their utility bills.
Chrystal Coker with NDO says federal funds are still available to help low income families cover the cost of their power and gas bills.
Those eligible can receive up to $350 in financial assistance.
NDO serves Habersham, Clarke, Madison, Jackson, Banks and surrounding counties (see service map below).
