Isolated to scattered storms are possible late today.
We stayed dry across the region though partly cloudy skies stuck around through the day. We’ll see more occasional clouds for your Easter Sunday with a chance for some isolated to scattered afternoon and evening showers/storms. Models had been very unimpressive with storm coverage however the last couple runs of the hi-res NAM (a model that does well in these situations) have shown a bit more widespread shower activity. Because of this I’ve bumped up the rainfall chances to 30% for today though I’ll be monitoring this closely through the afternoon.
As we head out of the weekend and into the start of your workweek a front will approach the area. This will help bring widespread afternoon showers/storms for Mon-Wed, with the highest concentration likely coming on Tuesday. No severe storms are expected at this time, however gusty winds are always a possibility with these afternoon storms.
We’ll get into a pretty broken-record forecast by the end of next week (no complaints here) with highs around 80 and a 30% chance of pop-up showers and storms each day.
