(Cleveland)- A 73-year old White County man died as a result of a single vehicle accident north of Cleveland early Thursday.
White County Sheriff’ Department Chief Deputy Bob Ingram said, the accident occurred around 4 AM on Asbestos Road near Dukes Creek Baptist Church.
According to Ingram a 1995 Nissan pickup ran off the road and overturned, trapping the driver.
Ingram said the accident report is not complete and full details are not available. He did say that the driver died as a result of injuries suffered in the crash.
White County Corner Ricky Barrett identified the victim as 73-year old James Henry Schmitt, of Helen.
