Expect partly cloudy skies with an isolated late-day shower possible.
We’ll see partly cloudy skies for the next two days as a weak summertime wedge builds into the region, keeping a very slight rain chance around for today and a slightly better one for tomorrow. These showers aren’t expected to be even remotely as widespread as the past few days, and the best chances come for the higher elevations. I wouldn’t be surprised at all to see areas south of the higher elevations remain dry during this time-frame, especially down towards Gainesville and points south/west.
The good news is that as the wedge breaks down and a low pressure system pushes up the coast, we’ll see dry conditions prevail for the entire weekend with highs pushing back into the 80’s by Sat/Sun. A slight chance of afternoon showers and storms will return by Monday with more moisture working into the area.
