A Demorest woman and Cornelia man are behind bars, charged in connection with a major drug trafficking ring in Northeast Georgia.

36-year-old Jennifer Bone and 34-year-old Ronald Jones were taken into custody Wednesday at the Circle K convenience store in Hollywood following what officials describe as a lengthy surveillance.

Agents with the Appalachian Regional Drug Enforcement Office (ARDEO) along with officers from the Habersham County Sheriff’s Office made the arrests.

ARDEO Special Agent in Charge Mitchell Posey says a bag containing 56 grams of methamphetamine was found in Bone and Jones’ car. The investigation revealed Bone was selling methamphetamine for a woman by the name of Tonya Loudermilk, age 40, out of Duluth, GA.

After Bone’s arrest, the Gwinnett County Sheriff’s Office (GCSO) executed a search warrant at Loudermilk’s residence at the Island Apartments on Satellite Boulevard. Loudermilk wasn’t home but officials say another suspect in the case, 40-year-old Derek Lynn Cagley of Newnan was there. When officers arrived Posey says Cagley “attempted to flush 2 kilograms of methamphetamine in the toilet.”

Officers seized $110,880 worth of drugs and approximately $20,000 in cash.

Cagley was arrested for trafficking methamphetamine and transported to the Gwinnett County Detention Center.

Bone and Jones were arrested for trafficking methamphetamine and transported to the Habersham County Detention Center.

Loudermilk is a fugitive and is currently wanted for trafficking methamphetamine in Habersham and Gwinnett Counties.

If you have information on her whereabouts, contact the Habersham County Sheriff’s Office. The 24 hour dispatch line is (706) 778-3911.
