We’ll be kicking off the 2017 high school football season in classic summer fashion: warm with scattered showers. Expect numerous thunderstorms in the region as you head out the door for some tailgating, with the chance of these gradually dropping through the evening. They’ll still remain scattered, however, so keep an umbrella or rain jacket handy through the evening and night.
