For the first time in over 2 weeks, the forecast contains more sun than precipitation.
Today should remain dry and quite warm with temps nearing the 70º mark everywhere except the higher elevations (5-10º cooler there as usual). A cold front will quickly cross the area tomorrow, and while a few showers/thundershowers are possible any rain should be quick-moving and short lived. The latest models don’t have me particularly optimistic for rain chances so I’ve dropped it to 30%.
The front will clear the region by late evening, and high pressure will slowly work into the region through the day Friday. Morning lows will be much more fall-like by the weekend with a widespread freeze expected Saturday, and possibly Sunday, morning. The higher elevations will likely see a trip down into the upper-20’s these days, so any remaining sensitive plants you have outside will need brought in. A gradual warming trend will set in Monday with the next rain chance arriving with another cold front next Tue-Thu.
Everyone have an excellent Wednesday and enjoy the sun!~TW
