We have one more day of full sunshine before the next major weather system arrives. Expect mostly sunny skies for your Monday as high pressure continues to dominate the region.
A wedge will build in tomorrow bringing widespread cloud cover and occasional drizzle/light rain. The major precipitation will come beginning overnight Tuesday lasting into early Thursday. Heavy rain is possible in this timeframe, with 2-3″ of rain expected. Isolated higher amounts will be possible but don’t appear particularly likely at this time.
Temps will remain warm through Thursday but the cold front will bring down some cold air by the weekend. The models diverge significantly by Saturday/Sunday with the GFS showing some rain and the Euro staying mostly dry.
I’ll be keeping an eye on that and keep you up to date on the latest.~TW
