Count your blessings with me…

Most of us know the BIG things; but, maybe we need to spend more time being thankful for the little blessings in our lives…

So…count them with me…one by one…50 Small Blessings… Everyday.

1. Your car starts! Have you ever had a morning when it doesn’t? Not fun…
2. A warm cup of coffee, seasoned with honey, cream, and sugar – Yummy!
3. Trash bags, bathroom tissue, and paper towels…we all know what it’s like to run-out
4. When your favorite song comes on the radio… there’s nothing like a good song that makes you smile
5. A good hair day – makes anyone feel pretty
6. A toothbrush and mint toothpaste – go a few days without brushing and you’ll appreciate having it!
7. Comfortable shoes – nothing worse than sore feet
8. A great work-out – endorphins – yaaaay!
9. Chicken Noodle Soup with Saltine Crackers – reminds us of our grandmothers
10. Finding money in your coat pocket – I look forward to it every winter
11. When someone says good morning – it is nice to be acknowledged
12. A bird singing outside your window – even when it’s raining
13. Your pet – always there to greet you
14. A short check-out line at the grocery store – it’s nice not to have to wait
15. Lower gas prices – Can I hear a big AMEN???
16. A pedicure – Nothing like pretty toes!
17. Eating out – a luxury to have someone serve you
18. Sunshine – especially with the last few weeks!
19. The smell of cut grass – reminds me of summer
20. A vacuum cleaner – makes clean-up quick
21. A good night’s sleep – nothing feels better!
22. A warm coat – those without a coat…know
23. Going to a movie – helps us escape reality
24. Laughing – can add years to your life
25. The end of the day –especially if it hasn’t been the best of days
26. A great fortune in your fortune cookie – always brings a smile
27. A beautiful sunset – with lots of different tones of red
28. Butterflies -especially when they land on your shoulder
29. A new outfit – makes us walk a little taller
30. A compliment – it’s nice to be noticed
31. Christmas trees – (saw the first ones of the season yesterday at Walmart!)
32. Pumpkin Spiced Lattes! Nothing screams Fall like pumpkins
33. Clean sheets – that moment when you first slip your feet into bed
34. Flowers – Bring color to any room
35. A phone call or text from an old friend – especially one you’ve not heard from for awhile
36. Lunch break – it’s nice to get out of the office
37. Candles – on a cake or in your room – always nice
38. A flashlight that works – especially when the lights go out
39. Not having to set an alarm – nothing like sleeping in
40. Children – whether their yours or someone else’s
41. Santa Claus – he just makes us jolly!
42. A coupon or discount – who doesn’t love a good bargain?
43. Snow days – whether you’re in school or a day off work – they are just fun!
44. A bubble bath or steaming shower – nothing can bring more comfort
45. Ringing the trash can with your paper ball – makes us feel like a basketball star
46. When your boss acknowledges you – makes us feel smarter
47. The remote control in the right place – always a day brightener
48. When someone tells you, you look like a star – Brad Pitt? Taylor Swift?
49. Finding your car keys – that ahhhhh moment
50. Being on time – or even early!
