Good morning folks.
We have a very complex pattern developing across the nation right now, and it is already giving forecasters a headache.
There are several upper level disturbances that will impact our weather over the coming 7-10 days. The first arrives on Friday when scattered showers are likely. The second comes in on Sunday when a more widespread, potentially heavy rain will be possible (along with flurries behind the front late Sunday being a possibility). Another could have an impact next week, but models remain inconsistent with that.
Temps will be going up over the next several days, with some spots potentially reaching the 60º mark on Saturday ahead of an approaching cold front. We will cool back down behind it, with temps similar to the past few days expected by Mon/Tue of next week. Rainfall totals Fri-Sun are still very much up in the air, but 1-2″ appear possible. No flooding concerns are anticipated at this point.
I’ll be watching every model run closely and keep you up to date on the latest. In the meantime, have a great day and enjoy the sunshine!~TW
