7-Day Forecast: Rainy and Cold

Good morning folks.

Rain is likely through the morning hours, becoming less likely as the day progresses though some fog and isolated showers will remain possible.

Highs will reach barely into the 50’s with more rain likely along/ahead of a cold front on Saturday/Saturday night. Total rainfall of 1/4-1″ is possible through the period with no flooding concerns whatsoever.

Sunday will start the day in the mid/upper-40’s with temperatures dropping through the day. A few flurries will be possible as the colder air works in, but nothing of consequence is expected and these should stay mostly confined to the higher elevations.

An arctic front will approach the region by Tuesday bringing a brief increase in clouds Tuesday night and a slight chance of a brief snow shower/flurry, though nothing of consequence is expected once again, and again things should stay confined to the higher elevations.

We’ll turn very cold  behind the front for Wed/Thu, so enjoy the warmer weather while it lasts. Another system will approach the region by next Friday, but what it holds remains to be seen.

Everyone have a great Friday!~TW
