Habersham EMC’s online outage map indicates that as of 2 p.m. Saturday approximately 100 members were without power. The outages are located in Hall and Rabun County. Earlier outages in Habersham have since been fully restored.
HEMC’s six-county service area — Habersham, Hall, Lumpkin, Rabun, Stephens and White — remains under a winter storm warning and wind advisory until 7pm Saturday. Freezing temperatures, high winds and heavy accumulations of ice and snow on trees and power lines could lead to more outages.

Please do not report outages via social media as those channels are not monitored 24/7.
