AREA CLOSINGS & CANCELLATIONS Saturday, January 23, 2016:
- North Georgia Technical College Driver Education Class rescheduled for Saturday, January 30
- Piedmont College Saturday classes canceled in Demorest and Athens.
Demorest basketball games at Mize Center on Saturday will be played as scheduled beginning at 2 p.m. - University of North Georgia campuses are closed and all classes and activities are canceled for Saturday. The University will resume normal operations on Monday. Saturday’s UNG Peach Belt Conference doubleheader at Clayton State is delayed. The women’s game will now tipoff at 5:30 p.m. followed by the men’s game at 7:30 p.m
- Contra Dance at Sautee Nachoochee Gym canceled
