Four Truett McConnell cross country runners have been named Daktronics NAIA Scholar-Athletes as announced by the national office.
Robert Bledsoe, Olivia Godfrey, Emily Hood and Lauren Tosky were given the honor of Scholar-Athlete. To earn this award, the student-athletes had to maintain a minimum GPA of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale and must have achieved a junior academic status to qualify.
The awards were announced ahead of the NAIA National Championships to be held in Elsah, Illinois, Saturday morning.
