Habersham County public schools will be closed for students on Monday, January 25, 2016. Teachers and staff should report at 10am or when safe to do so.According to school officials, many of the roads on the northern end of the county still have ice and snow on them. When school officials inspected them Sunday night they determined more than 20 buses would be impacted by poor road conditions Monday morning.
Rabun County Schools will be closed for students. Twelve month employees are directed to report at 10 a.m.
Due to the possibility of icy road conditions on campus and in the surrounding area, Tallulah Falls School will operate on a two-hour delay on Monday, January 25. Shuttles will pick up two hours later than usual and classes will begin at 10 a.m. Students unable to reach school due to unsafe road conditions will be excused.
