Black ice will once again be an issue early Monday morning, but all problems should pass by shortly after sunrise as we warm WELL above freezing.
Warmer temperatures will visit the region in the coming days, with widespread 50’s on Monday and Tuesday. Rain is likely starting after noon on Tuesday lasting through the overnight hours into early Wednesday. There is a very slight chance we could see a brief change to snow on the backside of the rain, but that appears unlikely at this time.
We’ll cool off Wednesday behind the front as the models temporarily diverge in how they handle a potential system Thursday (no wintry threat for now, just rain), with the Euro bringing a low out of the Gulf up the east coast and the GFS remaining fairly dry. I’ll keep you updated as we get closer.
Behind the system Thursday we won’t see temps go down, but go up instead, with some near-60º readings and beautiful sunny weather possible by next weekend.
Everybody have a great Monday!~TW
